FIGHTING AGAINST SOCIETAL INJUSTICES

INTENT RADIATED

READY TO CONQUER

Orits Williki is a Musician, a man of many parts who has a very complex origin. In him you will find that he is an Itsekiri, Ijaw, Edo and a Yoruba. He is also an Ethiopian because his great grand father was an Adowa from Northern Province of Ethiopia. Then it was called Abyssinian and he came around with the  Portuguese and where they naturalized was Ugbodede in Warri.

THE GOOD, BAD AND UGLY

TWO GOOD FRIENDS

My favorite photo styles

Life with music has been very good, bad and ugly. Good because this is my calling, my passion and my first love. It is bad because we ought to have done better; any innocent mind can be really been deceived by the hypes, show and shine of the business. It is ugly because we don’t really have the right and proper industry with the right structures to run it; we have more of shows without the business.

Being one of Nigeria’s most notable names in music, Orits Wiliki commands ample respect within Nigerian music terrain and far beyond.A verteran in every sense of the word who remains active both on stage and inconverts.

We have the tradition of dragging other younger artistes along with us. That is the only way you sow your seed. One can’t be there forever. If at old age and one did not sow any seed, one will regret like some of our old artistes.

“The Nigerian music industry is sick. We’re still looking for the ailment. Upcoming Nigerian musicians should prepare their minds. I’m not being a passimist. ,What i saw, what i’m seeing is not comforting.”
